Oregon State University Athletics
Oregon State University is an NCAA Division I school, with baseball, basketball, football, golf, rowing (crew), and wrestling for men and basketball, golf, gymnastics, rowing (crew), soccer, softball, swimming, and volleyball for women. The team nickname is the Beavers. The teams are in the Pacific-10 Conference.
Athletic facilities include a football stadium, the Coliseum for basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, and wrestling, a baseball field, a softball complex, gymnastics center, a swim center, a soccer field, a golf course, and a crew facility, on the banks of the Willamette River.
There is a cheerleading squad, a marching band, and a mascot (Benny Beaver.) The University also has intramural and recreational facilities.
Academic and personal support services are provided to student athletes from through the NCAA CHAMPS program.
